Douglas Flint

Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on January 26, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Helen Shipman. Dear father of Belinda McEvoy (Clem), Diane Millward and Jamie James (Richard). Sadly missed by seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Dear brother of Margaret Purcell and Gerald Flint (Eve). Also survived by a number of Helen's brothers and sisters. Predeceased by his son William (Bill), and by sisters Gladys, Inez and by brothers Charles, Reginald and William. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A celebration of Doug's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 11am. Cremation will follow at Roselawn with interment at Oakland Cemetery at a later date.
