Edna Mae Kennedy
<p>Passed away peacefully at St. Lawrence Lodge on Sunday, December 8, 2013. Edna Mae (Saddlemire) Kennedy, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Frank Kennedy. Loving mother of Colleen Chornie (the late Steve), Terry Kennedy (the late Shelley), Karen Jones (Harry), and Kevin Kennedy. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Spencer, Colin and Jaclyn Kennedy, Curtis and Natasha Chornie, Kristen Daoust (the late Michael) and Mark Jones (Sarah), Sean and Kayla Kennedy, and by great grandchildren Claire Cotter and Camden Jones. Also survived by her sisters Helen Casselman, Hilda Easter; and by a brother-in-law Carl Lundy. She was predeceased by her parents Dalton and Mabel Saddlemire; by brothers Stuart, Foster and John Saddlemire and by sisters Pauline Baker, Mildred VanAllen, and Ruth Leonard. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. </p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. The Liturgy of the Christian Funeral will be held at St. Francis Xavier Church on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by interment at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. In remembrance donations, in lieu of flowers to Habitat for Humanity or the Brockville Salvation Army will be gratefully acknowledged.
