Edward James Kirkby

Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, on Friday, June 16, 2017. Edward (Ted) Kirkby, at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband of Linda (nee Covill ) and dear father of Edward (Ed) Kirkby (Tina), Tammy Crowder (Dennis) and Kathy-Jo Dumont (Marc). Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Matt, Teddy, Melissa, Dillon, Justin, Melinda, Chadd and by five great grandchildren. Brother of Doug Kirkby, Evangeline Hunsicker (John Lapierre) and Elizabeth Mathieson (Doug). Also survived by three sisters-in-law Betty Downing (David), Alynn Page (Chris), Denise Covill (Mike) and several nieces and nephews. Ted was predeceased by a daughter Marla in infancy as well as his parents James and Ruth Kirkby

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Thursday, June 22 from 11am until 1pm when a ceremony celebrating Ted's life will be held in the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, Maitland.
