On Monday, September 14, 2009, Brockville, Ontario, at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas George Baker. Loving mother of Ian (Johanne), Diane Foley, and Gordon. Cherished grandmother of Scott Baker, Dorothy, Lydia and Bridgette Foley. Dear sister of Kay Brady and sister-in-law of Ann Mainprize. Family and friends are invited to a ceremony in celebration of Betty's life at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 18th at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. A gathering will follow in the Irvine Reception Centre. Private interment will take place at Mount Royal Cemetery, Montreal. In remembrance, donations to Victoria's Quilts or to the Shriner's Hospitals will be gratefully acknowledged. An audio broadcast of the funeral service is available.
