<p>Peacefully after a long bravely fought battle with dementia, on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at the St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville, Ontario. Elizabeth (Betty) Taylor (nee Lapointe) at the age of 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert (Bob) Taylor. Loving mother of Stephen Taylor, Sharon Taylor Brunet (Robert), Valerie Taylor, and David Taylor (Kathleen). Fondly remembered by six grandchildren, Anthony Taylor (Melanie Tremblay), Jordan Taylor, Jasmine Taylor (Maxime Emond), Sean Kraft (Brittany), Gordon Gray and Amy Gray. Dear sister of Barbara Lapointe. Predeceased by her parents Kathleen and George Lapointe. </p><p><br></p><p>The family wishes to thank the staff of The St. Lawrence Lodge and Lana’s Love and Trust for the care given to Betty during her illness. In remembrance, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada or the St. Lawrence Lodge, will be gratefully acknowledged. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel on Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 2-3 pm.
