Passed away suddenly at Kingston General Hospital on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the age of 79. Beloved wife of Edwin Gordon Cox and loving mother of Debbie Holden (Gary), John Cox (Marianne), Steve Cox, Mary Pressley (Mike). Cherished grandmother of Cara, Kristen, Jason, Shawn, Amy, Jessica, Kyle, Brandon and Summer. Great grandmother of Rylie and Bria. Dear sister of Irene Boulton (Don), Alice Carr and Bill Haley (Susan). Also survived by her brothers-in-law Doug Carr, Murray Botham and her sisters-in-law Betty Haley and Betty Cox as well as by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Gordon Ellsworth Haley and Elizabeth Bessie (Pearce), by her sisters Jenny Carr, Janie Botham and Mary Lombard, her brother Jim Haley, her brothers-in-law Herb, Ken and Dan Cox (Cybil), Ken Carr and her sisters-in-law Winn Nelson (Henry), Mary Hook (Steve) and her niece Donna Haley.

A gathering in celebration of Ella's life will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Saturday, October 29th from 4-6 pm.
