On Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at the Rosedale Retirement Centre, Brockville in her 100th year. Daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Tennant) Pettem and beloved wife of the late James Craig. Elsie is survived by her sister Gladys McFarlane Harper of Gananoque. Remembered with much love and affection by her many nieces, nephews and great, as well as great-great nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Cecil, Gorden and Ward Wesley Pettem. Elsie was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church in Brockville and a tirelsss worker for the Presbyterian Women. Elsie moved to the Rosedale Retirement Centre in 2004 where she resided until her passing. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday, March 22nd from 12 noon until 2 pm when a Ceremony in Celebration of Elsie's life will be held in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to First Presbyterian Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
