Passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, June 24, 2013; Ernie Metcalfe at the age of 64 years. Beloved son of Jean (Thibault) Metcalfe and the late Donald Metcalfe. Dear father of Rick Metcalfe (Candice), and Darren Metcalfe (Julie). Also survived by his companion Heather Nowell and her family. Dear grandpa of Hunter and Gracie-Mae. Predeceased by his two brothers Barry and James Metcalfe.Also survivd by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A ceremony celebrating Ernie''s life will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 2:00 pm in the Chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
