Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Sabourin and Gordon Doyle. Dear mother of Douglas Sabourin and his wife Doris of Brockville, and the late Gary Sabourin. Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Evelyn is the daughter of the late Harold and Nellie (Easter) Whitney, and was also predeceased by brother Elmer (Bud) Whitney and his wife Gladys, and sisters Frances Snider and her husband Charles, and Margaret Goodfellow and her husband Thomas. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19th at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville and the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. ntil the time of the service. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
