Died peacefully at Carveth Care Centre on Friday morning, January 13, 2012 with family by her side. Flo was the devoted wife of the late Carl Nesbitt who predeceased her in August of 1986. Also predeceased by her second husband, the late Laurence Lalonde. Flo is survived by her four children, Sandra and husband Bill Stevens of Gananoque, Margaret and her husband Stuart Reid of Fredericton, NB; Joe and his wife Sherry of Brentwood Bay, BC; and Jo-Anne and her husband George Linton of Fredericton, NB. Mrs. Nesbitt was predeceased by her parents Margaret and Alexander Morrison and was the last surviving member of her family. She was predeceased by brothers Allan, Stevie, Hugh, Dannie and Fraser Morrison and sister Jessie McIntosh. She leaves behind ten grandchildren, Dan (Michelle); Chris (Amy) and Carla (James) Thibeault Stevens; Ryan (Ali); Scott (JiEun) and Meaghan Reid; Jennifer and Justin Nesbitt and Ashley and Keely Briggs and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Nesbitt will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Monday, January 16 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 66 Church Street, Brockville, ON. Cremation will follow at Roselawn. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in Mrs. Nesbitt's memory would be appreciated by the family. Sincere appreciation is extended to Dr. John Erb and the entire staff at Carveth Care Centre who kindly supported and cared for Mom and made it a special home for her.
