Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at the Ottawa Hospital; Civic Campus on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Francis Joseph McCormac, at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Patricia (Jacques Berard) McCormac. Dear father of Joseph Berard (Hilda), Francis Berard (Jane), Perry McCormac (Debbie), Cathy Gravelle (Gary), James McCormac and Marlene McCormac (Dave). Loving grandfather of Justin, Daniel, Hannah, Mary, Patty, Krystin, Shane, Alex, Tyler, Dylan, Keith and Katrina; and great-grandfather of Sawyer, Emmett, Nolan, Brody, Heidi, Kaylyn, Sydney, Damien, Thomas and Lilith. Remembered by his sister Rita (Bobby predeceased). Francis was predeceased by his siblings Danny (Libby), Johnny (Theresa), Jimmy (Donalda), Pat, Denny (Diane), Mickey (Marg), Mary (Jim) and Margaret; and by his parents Florence and John McCormac. A special thank you to Dr. Van Jaarsveld and the doctors, nurses and staff at the Ottawa Civic for their compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 9:30 am at the St. John Bosco Parish, 175 Windsor Dr., Brockville. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
