At Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at the age of 63 years. Beloved husband of Kay (Kathleen Lowry) of Johnstown. Loving father of Carla Coville (Darrin) of Maynard and Cora MacLeod (Angus) of Island Brook QC. Cherished grandfather of Janet and Jack Coville, Andrew and Emma MacLeod and the late Ian Coville. Dear son of Marion (Billing) Richards of Lennoxville QC and of the late Nelson Richards and brother of Jim (Norma) of Maitland ON, Bryan (Lynda) of Pefferlew ON, Gail Kelso (Terry) of Lennoxville QC and Carol Wang (Don) of Nepean ON. Also survived by his father-in-law Chilston Lowry (Mildred), his brother-in-law Keith Lowry (Myrna) and sisters-in-law Donna McConnell (Raymond), Joyce Lowry (Andre), Tina Poudrier (Paul) and Andrea Lowry (Daniel) all of Quebec, Margaret Burgess (Lloyd), Laura Roy (Dave), Cheryl Morrison (Bryan) and Anita Babin (Bruce) all of Milton ON, Charlene Mackey (Ross) of Ignace ON, and Rhoda Dawson (Mike) of Orleans ON. He is also fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother-in-law Evelyn Lowry. Family and friends are invited to visit at the IRVINE MEMORIAL CHAPEL AND RECEPTION CENTRE at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 2451 Maitland Road, Maitland ON, on Saturday, June 18 from 2-4 and 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. and on Sunday, June 19th from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. A ceremony to celebrate Gary's life will be held in the Chapel Sunday at 2:30 p.m. In remembrance, donations to Brockville and District Palliative Care or the Canadian Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
