It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of George at his home on June 18, 2014. Dear husband of Bev (nee Quinn). Loving father of Judy Hunter (Fred), Chris (Judy) and Jill. He leaves to mourn his special grandchildren Austin Hunter, Hailey Boyd, Melany Boyd, Amy Hunter (Matt) and Jeremy Boyd. Survived by his sister Rachel Dinberg of Vero Beach, Florida, sisters-in-law Marg Boyd of Ottawa, Barbara Dunster (Don) of Coburg, and Joan Scott (Gary) of Newmarket. Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Georgina Boyd, brothers Albert and Harold, sister Irene Lebedick and nephew Dale Dunster as well as his father and mother-in-law Leonard and Flora Quinn. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a gathering in celebration of George's life on Saturday, June 21st from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. As expressions of sympathy, donations in lieu of flowers to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
