Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on March 31, 2012 at the age of 53 years. Beloved husband of Ruth Hitsman Mayer. Dear father of Rob (Emma), Ryan (Josée) and Mitchell (Brodie) Mayer. Sadly missed by five grandchildren Thomas, Lilian, and Harland Mayer, Jacob and Jenna Welsh as well as one sister Yvonne Nagle (Bucky) of Perth. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville on Wednesday from 11am until 1pm when services will be held in the Chapel. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Crematorium with interment at Maynard Cemetery at a later date.In memoriams to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Service will be gratefully acknowledged.
