George Marsh

Retired Firefighter, Ottawa Fire Department. At Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, November 27, 2010; George Edward Marsh of Brockville and formerly of Ottawa at the age of 74 years. Beloved father of Pat MacLeod of Almonte, Kim Ashbee (Bruce) of Brockville, Mike Marsh of Almonte and Tim Marsh (Darlene) of Georgetown. Fondly remembered by his grandchildren Ryan and Gregg Ashbee, Amanda, Kadie and Megan Marsh. Also survived by his sister Esther Robillard (Andre) of Ottawa and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Christina Marsh and by brothers Leslie, Robert and Lee Marsh. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, December 1st from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Cremation will follow at Roselawn Crematorium. In remembrance, donations to the Cancer Society or the Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged. A Timeless Tribute Video Memorial is available with this Book of Memories.
