Sander, Gina Ann

1952 - 2018

Gina passed away peacefully on Monday, November 12 at St. Lawrence Lodge, Brockville. Gina was loved and surrounded by dear friends at the time of her passing. Gina was predeceased by her father, Lewis Sander and is survived by her step brother Aaron and his family from Vancouver, Washington.

Gina had a love for life and valued those she came in contact with. In turn, she was loved by many and will be missed as a greeter at many community meals served at Wall Street United Church, as well as from the Friendship Centre, and Common Ground. Gina was a vibrant participant in her recovery programs and is forever grateful for the support and friendships she made within those communities.

Friends are invited to a celebration of Gina’s life to be held at Wall Street United Church, on Tuesday, November 27, at 2:30 PM. A light reception will follow in Heritage Hall. A very warm and sincere thank you is extended to those at St. Lawrence Lodge who cared so beautifully for Gina over the last two years. As expression of sympathy, donations to Loaves and Fishes would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, Brockville.
