Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on September 27, 2010 in his 92 year. Beloved husband of Doreen Henderson Smith. Dear father of Peter and his wife Meredith, Kathy Gage and her husband Duncan and Donna Reid. Also survived by his three grandchildren Johanna Smith and Scott and Michael Gage and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son-in-law Bob Reid, his daughter-in-law Jura Smith, brothers Gordon, Bruce, Byron, Omar and Ralph Smith and by sisters Dora Bell, Elma Allen and Betty Burns. Family and friends are welcome at a gathering to be held at the Irvine Funeral Home Reception Centre, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday October 3 rd from 2- 4 pm. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
