Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital Gardens St. Site on May 1st 2016 Heather Gay (Whiteland) Kirkby, at the age of 62 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Douglas Kirkby. Dear sister of Ritchie Whiteland (Marguerite), Gary Whiteland (Gloria) and Vicki Corfe (Chris). She was predeceased by her parents Anne and John Whiteland and by her sister Donna Whiteland. Heather was the daughter-in-law of the late Ruth and James Kirkby.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville from Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 pm A ceremony celebrating Heather's life will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 11 am followed by interment at Oakland Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Irvine Memorial Reception Centre at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Centennial Road Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
