Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Monday, January 21, 2013, at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Klärchen (Claire) Einfeldt who predeceased him one year ago to the day. Beloved father of Rudi Einfeldt and his wife Judy, Brigitte Irwin and her husband John and Ute Graham and her husband Larry. Cherished grandfather of Rudy (Chacity) and Nikki (John); and great grandfather of Hannah Claire and Cole. Also survived by his sister Margot Sagermann (Berthold) in Germany as well as by several nieces and nephews in Toronto and Germany. Henry's family wishes to express sincere thanks to the nursing staff and volunteers of the 5th floor at BGH Garden Street Site, Dr. David Beattie and his health team as well as to his care givers Monica and Carol for all of their kindness and compassion. Many other people provided compassionate care to Henry over the period of his illness and the family wishes to express their appreciation to those who made a difference in many countless ways. A celebration of Henry's life will be held at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Saturday, May 11th from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville District Hospital Foundation Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
