Entered into rest on Thursday afternoon January 30, 2009 at the Brockville General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Dear mother of Victor of Brockville and Ronald of Toronto. Sadly missed by her three grandchildren William, Kate and Krista. Ida was predeceased by her daughter Mary Long, by sisters Doris Jacques, Helen and Mary Pope and by a brother Fred Cable. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 6- 8 pm. Funeral services for Ida will be held in the Chapel on Thursday evening at 7 o'clock. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes Society will be appreciated.
