Ivan Crowder

Peacefully in the company of loving family on Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care; William Ivan Crowder at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Jean (Cowie) Crowder. Loving father of Gloria Bangma & her husband Ken, Kingston; Marilyn Fraser & her husband Gary; Brian & his wife Pam, Janice Paul & her husband David; Glenn & his wife Debbie; Gerry; Kathie Richer & her husband Claude; and Sherri Crowder all of Brockville. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Karen, Ken Jr., Scott, Todd, Cathy, Kim, Leslie, Troy, Kory, Trevor, Crystal, Becky, Kevin, Darryl, Chris, Ryan, Tayler, Brad, Melissa, April and Nicholas and by great grandchildren Kaitlyn, Matthew, Brooke, Alyson, Tyler, Brady, Haley, Ben, Summer, Zach, Declan, Cole, Brinley, Carter, Kate. Predeceased by his son Ronnie, by his brother Lyall and by sisters Violet and Viola. Sadly missed by Ivan and Sherri's Shelty "Meg". Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. and Monday after 1:00 p.m. A ceremony in celebration of Ivan's life will be held in the Chapel on Monday, July 19th at 2 o'clock with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to Brockville District Hospital Palliative Care, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
