Campbell, J. Douglas (Retired Lieut. Col. RCAF)

Passed away peacefully at the Wedgewood Retirement Resort on Saturday, September 19, 2015 with family by his side. James Douglas Campbell, at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Doris Johnson and dear father of Brian Campbell (Diane) of Newfoundland, and Lynnsay Villeneuve (Ralph Wheeler) of Brockville. Loving grandfather of Danielle Campbell (Perry Greeley), Melanie Campbell (Cory Tetford) and Doug Villeneuve (Allison). Special poppy to Daphne Villeneuve. Great grandfather of Brianna, Charlotte, Wil, Cali, Kaylee, Jacob, Brittany and Catherine. Also survived by a great great granddaughter Sophie. Predeceased by his parents James Douglas and Maude Campbell, his son-in-law Bryan Villeneuve and by a great granddaughter Paige Villeneuve.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday September 25th after 12 noon until 2 pm when a memorial service will be held in the Chapel with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville General Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully acknowledged.
