Entered into rest in the comfort of his Lord and Faithful Saviour on November 18th, 2011. Loved and cherished by his wife Anne (Baas) Roobol. Loving Father and Father-in-law to Donna and David Cody, Laura and Harold Roobol, Marianne and Neil Paddle, Corinne and Frank Cipra, Cindy and Ryan Hayes. Beloved Poppa and Grandpa to Matthew, Shannon, Hannah, Meghan, Jesse, Katrina, Joel, Ian, Nathaniel, Dylan and Jacob. Dear Brother of Cor Roobol and his wife Judy of North Augusta and Pat Baas and her husband Hank of Barrie. Predeceased by his brother Marinus whose wife Betty survives. "Uncle Jake" to many. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service in celebration of Jake's life will be held at Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 125 Windsor Drive, Brockville on Monday at 11:00 a.m. Cremation and private interment to follow at Roselawn. Donations to Palliative Care in memory of Jake would be gratefully acknowledged by the family; whom he told "All is well".
