With sadness we announce that Jamie died at the age of 54 after a 3 year hard fought battle with cancer. Jamie’s last years were spent in Brockville where he managed to stay in his own home up until a few days before his death. Jamie lived his early years at Mont Tremblant, a place he loved, then later spent many summers collecting sediment samples from far northern lakes by helicopter. He loved the work and honed his photography skills in the vast wilderness. Jamie will be missed by his Mother Betty, his sister Alison and his nephew Nigel and his lifelong friend James Baillie. He has now joined his Dad, Don Stewart , who died a year and a half ago. There will be no service at his request. His ashes will be scattered by helicopter by friends in Northern Quebec.
