Jan Willem Brouwer
<p>Jan Willem Brouwer peacefully passed away on January 5, 2014. Jan was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sonja and his son, Peter. Loving father of Mary (Gary) Arthurs, Bill (Rika) Brouwer, John (Juliet Douglas) Brouwer, Joe (Kim) Brouwer, Tony (Liz) Brouwer, Ron (Jackie) Brouwer, and Angie (Willie) Mclachlan. Dearly cherished by his thirty-two grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren. Jan is also survived by family in the Netherlands.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, January 9th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. Funeral services will be held at Victoria United Church, Maynard on Saturday, January 11 at 1:00pm with Reverend Kathy Petrie officiating. Interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.</p><p><br></p><p>In lieu of flowers, please forward donations to the Victoria United Church in Maynard, to Carveth Nursing Home, Gananoque, or to a charity of your choice.
