Janet Helen Boire Ilett (nee Cooper)

Died peacefully at her home at Bridlewood Manor on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of James Ilett and the late Roland Boire. Cherished mother of Janet (the late Dr. Claude Grandbois), Mary Louise (Claude Boudreau), Paul Boire, Peter Boire (Pamela Lucas) and Geoffrey Boire. Dear step-mother of Jacqueline Ilett, Wendy (John Keryk) and Rosalind Ilett. Fondly remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Lillian and her brother Raymond. Predeceased by 2 grandchildren and by her brothers and sisters Winston, Fenimore, Margery and Merril. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Bridlewood Manor.

Family will receive friends at Wall Street United Church, 5 Wall St., Brockville, on Friday, February 4th, 2011 from 12 noon until 1 pm when a service in celebration of Janet's life will be held. A reception will follow in the church hall. Donations to the Dr. Claude Grandbois Endowment Fund for Hematology/Oncology (Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation) or a charity of your choice would be gratefully appreciated.
