Jean Frances Gilmer

Passed away peacefully in her sleep at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on Friday, December 16, 2016. Jean Frances (Kinsman) Gilmer, at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of the late Alton Gilmer, and dear mother of Patsy (Phil) Jones. Devoted grandmother of Rochelle Schumaker (Lucas), Stephanie Dix (Steve), Vicky Kinch (Kasey) and Stacy Durant (Daniel). Proud Great grandmother of Gavin Schumaker, Gerard and Devin Dix, Lilah Jean and Avery Kinch and Aubrey and Colton Durant. Also survived by her brother Alan Kinsman (Judy), and sisters-in-law Adrienne Kinsman, Lilah Gilmer, Kay Gilmer and Hilda Langstaff as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents William and Lyn Kinsman, and brothers Jack Kinsman and Bob Kinsman.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A service in honour and celebration of Jean's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at 1 pm.
