<p>Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on July 27thh 2014. Joan Marie Halstead at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Halstead, and dear mother of John Williams (Joanne), James Williams (Jane), Jeffrey Williams ( Louise), Lynn Brownell (Jim) and JoAnn Warren ( Dale). Sadly missed by five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.</p><p>Family and friends are invited to gather for a graveside service at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland on Saturday September 6th at 11am. A reception will follow in the Irvine Memorial Reception Centre at Roselawn. In memoriams to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit will be gratefully appreciated. Our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the Brockville General Hospital and a special thank you to the ACU at the BGH for caring for our Mom.</p>Obituary
