John Melville Cyril Asbury

<p>Peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband for 59 years of Norma (nee Jones). Survived by sisters Joan Capstick (Harry) and June Royston both of Montreal; by his brother Robert Asbury of Calgary; his sister-in-law Jean Asbury of Montreal and brother-in-law Fred Jones of Huntingdon, QC. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents William Melville Cyril Asbury and Gladys Edna (Hicklin) Asbury, along with his brother Victor Asbury. Jack was born and raised in Montreal where he had a long career with CN Rail. He had a second career in the monument industry working with Ideal Monuments in London ON, for several years. He spent his retirement in Grand Bend and eventually moved to Brockville in 2008. </p><p><br></p><p>Friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 10am until time of Service in the Chapel at 11am.
