John William Bennett entered into rest at Brockville General Hospital on Tuesday, September 26th, 2017 at the age of 94 years. Husband of the late Helen Bennett who predeceased him on September 17th, 2017. John is survived by his six daughters Ann Eager (Jim), Faye Mallory (Dick), Heather Greenwood, Laurie Laughlin (Rick), Joyce Kearney (Rob) and Linda Stone (Kevin), 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, a brother Warren Bennett and a sister-in-law Geraldine Barnes. Predeceased by three brothers Gordon, Ernie and Albert Bennett.

Arrangements are entrusted to Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 484, Salvation Army or the OSPCA Lanark Leeds Grenville Branch will be greatly appreciated.
