<p>Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site, on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the age of 97 years. Beloved husband of the late Marie Jean (Love) Williams, who predeceased John on June 1, 2016. Fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews James Carson (Constance), David Carson (Cherie), Emily Carson, Ron Carson, John (Tracey) and Matthew Carson, Andrew Carson, Brian Carson (Sarah), Erin Hornick (Nathan), Michael and Richard Love. Also survived by a great niece and a great nephew. Predeceased by his two brothers George and James (Jim) Williams.</p><p><br></p><p>Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 11 am until 1:45 pm with a service in honour and celebration of John's life commencing at 2 pm in the Chapel. Interment will take place at Oakland Cemetery followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the First Presbyterian Church or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
