On Monday, December 14, 2015 following a brief illness, Keith George Whiteland, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Ella Mae (Hall) Whiteland, and the late Sarah Antinello. Loving father of Sandy Legacy (Mark) of Chatham, Sue Kacsor (Steve) of Oshawa, and the late Judy Whiteland Sabourin (Ray survives). Cherished Poppy of grandchildren Stephanie (Kevin), Tim (Katrina), Laura (Todd), Shelley (Shawn) and Tyler, and great-grandchildren Andrew, Sierra, Hailey, Holden, Tenley and Jansen. Also survived by his brother Charlie Whiteland and his sister Bernice Dafoe, as well as by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Howard Whiteland, and by his sisters Gwen Lane and Shirley Blanchard.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Wednesday, December 16th from 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, December 17th from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. A ceremony celebrating Keith's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are requested to gather for the Legion Tribute Wednesday at 5:45 p.m. Interment to take place at Oakland Cemetery, Friday at 3:30 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Legion Poppy Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
