On Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at Kingston General Hospital at the age of 77 years; Kenneth Cox of Brockville, the beloved husband of Betty (Hemmings) Cox. Loving father of Lorraine Lovegrove (Fred), Kenneth, Sandra Barton, Carole Carlson, David Weatherbee (Beth), Kathy Tedford (Nick), Brenda Johnson (John) and Dan Weatherbee. Dear "Pap" of ten grandsons and two great grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers George, Dan and Edwin (Ella) Cox as well as by numerous nieces and nephews. Ken was predeceased by his parents, Sydney and Jean (Spalding) Cox, by his sisters Winnifred and Mary, by a step-son Frederick Weatherbee, and by a sister-in-law Cybil. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday from 6 - 8 p.m. A Ceremony in Celebration of Ken's life will be held in the Irvine Chapel on Saturday, April 3rd at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Maitland.
