Weldon, Kenney Orman July 30, 1920 - Sept. 10, 2010 WW II Veteran Retired from Canada Starch Co., Cardinal Entered into rest at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Friday, September 10, 2010 at the age of 90 years. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Tackaberry) Weldon and the late Dora (nee Thompson) Weldon. Cherished father of Jim Weldon (Debi) Perth Road, Lois Mills and her husband Randy who passed away on Sunday, September 12th in Sault Ste Marie, Marny Chauvin (Mike) Wawa, Diane Bouffard (Michel) Sault Ste Marie, Joan Robertson (Gord) Westport and Karen Asmar (Gaby) Ottawa. Fondly remembered by step-children Rick Stewart (Lisa) Ottawa, David Stewart (Cathy) Ottawa and Debbie Hickey (Len) Kingston; by 20 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews in British Columbia, Halifax, Ottawa and Sault Ste. Marie areas. Predeceased by his parents Charles Orman Weldon and Esther (nee Kenney) Weldon Sault Ste Marie and by his brothers John (Jack), Marlow and George Weldon. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre at Roselawn, 2451 Country Rd. 15, Maitland on Monday, September 27 from 11am to 1 pm. A celebration of Ken's life will be held at 1 pm in the Chapel, with a reception to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or St. John's United Church, Brockville would be appreciated.Obituary
