Passed away suddenly at her home in Virginia Beach on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the age of 58 years. Cherished daughter of Joyce (McMullen) and the late Stanley Orr. She will be sadly missed by her children Mathew, Kyle (Kim) and Thomas (Kiersten) and by her grandchildren Grasen and Milo. Kerrie is also survived by her two sisters Kellie Howe (Steve) and their children Patrick (Carly), Carney (Aily), A.J. and Shannon (Matt); and by Kathleen Cruse (Kevin) and their children Rebecca O'Neill (Mitch), Adryanna and Nathaniel. Predeceased by a brother James in infancy. She has been nursing for over 30 years with the last 16 in the US currently working as a Quality Management Consultant and was to complete her Master’s Degree in Medical Informatics this year.

Family and friends are invited to a service in celebration of Kerrie's life at the Irvine Memorial Chapel at Roselawn, 2451 County Road 15, Maitland on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11 am followed by a reception. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged.
