Passed away at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2016. Laureen Evelyn (Dunning) Garnett, at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald Garnett and cherished mother of Sandie Garnett and Karen (Phil) McFarlane. Dear grandmother of Aidan and Lauren McFarlane. Dear sister of Dorothy (Lee) Carleton, Elizabeth (David) Hain, Lawrence (Lesley) Dunning, Willard Dunning and Cathy (Rick) van Ravenhorst. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Lawrence Dunning.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 5-8 pm. A ceremony celebrating Laureen's life will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 10 am with interment following at Oakland Cemetery. Members of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority will assemble on Wednesday at 9:15 am for a memorial tribute.
