Dr. Lestrod Alfonso Montague Davis passed away peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday, May 16, 2016, at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of Nydia (Brown) Davis and cherished father of Alison Davis, Vaughn Davis (Tascha) and Dr. Resa Davis. Also survived by his brother Ivor Davis, by a sister-in-law Elaine Davis and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He was predeceased by his mother and father, and his brother Stuart Davis.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Friday, May 27, 2016 from 1- 4 pm and at the Parish of St. Lawrence Anglican Church, 80 Pine St. on Saturday, May 28, 2016 after 10 am until 11 am when a service in honour of Dr. Davis' life will be held. Members of the Brockville Lions Club will gather at the funeral home for a Lions Memorial Tribute on Friday at 4 pm. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Brockville Lions Music Festival, Brockville and District Hospital Foundation, Hampton University, McGill University - Faculty of Medicine, Kidney foundation of Canada or the National Kidney Foundation (USA) will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
