Leslie Lux Brockville, Ontario Obituary

Leslie Lux

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday April 5, 2012 in his 79th year. Survived by his beloved wife Ella (nee Bauer) of 52 Years, loving father of Andy (Natasha) and cherished Opa to Madeleine and Paige. Les immigrated on March 19, 1957 from Hungary to Canada. He quickly found his way from Montreal to Brockville and he never left. Speaking very little English he spent time learning English and practicing his trade as a Millwright. Les worked for Dupont Canada for 40 years. Upon retirement he took up a few activities such as curling, sailing and tending to his garden. Nothing was cherished more then the time he spent down at the river. Whether it was swimming, campfires or just sitting watching the boats go by. He will be sadly missed by many friends. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Irvine Memorial Chapel and Reception Centre at ROSELAWN, 2451 Maitland Road, Maitland on Wednesday, April 11th, 2012 from 12 noon until 2 pm when a service in honour and celebration of Les' life will be held in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
