Barker, Lorna

Passed away at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles St., on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the age of 78 years. Lorna Marjorie (Walker) Barker, born April 22, 1935 in Smiths Falls to the late William Walker and Elsa Lampitt. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Barker; cherished mother of Ralph Barker, Brent Barker (Tammy) and Shawn Barker (Denise) and dear grandmother of Mariah. Loving sister of Marilyn Devlin (Eric), Wilma Kirkland and Jack Walker (Edna). Sister-in-law to Frances Merriman (Dave), Joan Boisvert (Andy) and the late Pansy Bowen (Harry survives). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Lois Johnston (Glen) and Vera Joyce and by brothers Garth Walker and Beverly Walker (Isobel).

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Thursday, January 23, 2014 after 12 noon until 2 pm when a service in honour and celebration of Lorna's life will be held in the chapel. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the OSPCA Leeds Grenville Branch will be gratefully acknowledged.
