The Lord took home our beloved mother, grandmother and sister who passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Lutske (Lucy) Van Dommelen (Terpstra) at the age of 96 yrs. Predeceased by her husband John Van Dommelen. Survived by her children Claudette and Randy (Michelle) Van Dommelen. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Amanda, Cory, Jessica, Emily, Joshua, Arielle, and Christina as well as by her great grandchild Blake. Sister of Jappke Woudstra (Terpstra). Predeceased by her siblings Klaas and Bert Terpstra.

Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, March 15, from 2-5 pm. A celebration of Lucy's life will be held at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 117 Windsor Drive, Brockville on Thursday, March 16, at 11 am. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Bethel Christian Reformed Church will be gratefully acknowledged.
