Passed away peacefully at the Maple View Lodge on Sunday, July 20 ,2014. Margaret Lillian ( nee Burns) Saunders, at the age of 102 years. Beloved wife of the late Harold James Saunders and dear mother of Jim and Gerry (Linda) Saunders.Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Geoffrey Saunders (Johanna), Heather DeWaele (Ben) and by her three great grandchildren Quinton, Oliva and Mika.Sister of Mary Zimbrick. Predeceased by brothers George,Chuck, and Albert Burns and by her sisters Kaye Coleman, Edith Harrison and Muriel. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.. A ceremony celebrating Margaret's life will be held in the Irvine Chapel on Thursday July 24th at 11 am. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Maple View Lodge Auxiliary Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
