Marian Dick

Entered into rest at The Wedgewood Retirement Resort, Brockville on Sunday, July 25, 2010. Marian (Smarzik) Dick, at the age of 79 years. Beloved wife of Harold Dick of Brockville and cherished mother to Barbara Gray (David) of Brockville and Gordon Dick (Corrina) of Mineville, N.S. Loving grandmother of Christina Alloway (Glenn), Justin and Matthew Dick, Sean and Alexandra Gray and Julia Dick. Special Baba to Sebastian Alloway. Also survived by her brother John Smarzik (Jane) of Ottawa and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents John Smarzik and Maria Matas. A private family gathering will take place at the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St. E., Brockville. A service in celebration of Marian's life will be held at the Parish of St. Lawrence, 80 Pine St. Brockville on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at 12 noon followed by cremation at Roselawn. Interment will be in Saint John, N.B. at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Parish of St. Lawrence would be appreciated by the family.
