Passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Garden Street Site on Saturday, August 10, 2013; the former Marie Theresa Kennedy, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of 60 years to Carl Lundy. Dear mother of David and his fiancé Laura, Robbie and his wife Mavis and Stephen and his wife Carolyn. Cherished grandmother of William, Hailee and Keeden; Cullen and Colina; Raine, Charlotte and Marigold. Also survived by sisters-in-law Alma and Edna Kennedy, Madeline Jackson, Zelda Mae Hunter and her husband Stewart, and her brother-in-law Everett Lundy and his wife Kaye. Predeceased by her parents Jim and Annie (Quinlan) Kennedy, her sister Margaret Moore, and brothers Frank, Patrick, Ted, Charles, Benedict, Fred and Joseph Kennedy. A caring Mother, a devoted Grandmother, a loving Wife, Marie was all that and so much more. Marie was a woman who lived her life with great compassion, fierce determination and steadfast loyalty. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville, on Tuesday, August 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, August 14th after 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Lawrence Anglican Church on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. followed by a reception in the Parish Hall. Interment will take place at Bishop's Mills Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Harvest Sharing Food Bank in Brockville or the Food for All Foodbank in Prescott will be gratefully acknowledged.
