Entered into rest at the Brockville General Hospital on January 29, 2012 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernard (Sam) Oxbro, and dear mother of Sandra Longstaff, Kenneth Oxbro (Christine), Susan Merkley (Allen), Janet Massey (Ken) and Ron Oxbro (Anna Lisa). Sadly missed by ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Dear sister of Reginald Davis and his wife Beatrice. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Ruth Barron, grandchildren Shane and Shannon Barron, her brother Edwin Davis and his wife Evelyn, sister-in-laws Bernice Oxbro and her husband Joseph Ferguson, Ethel Watts and her husband Bernard Watts, Bette Oxbro and her husband Douglas Oxbro, her parents Leonard Davis and Susan Louedna Davis (Healey) and by her stepmother Pearl Kelly Davis. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East Brockville from Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A celebration of Marion's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday at 11 am. Interment will follow at New Dublin Cemetery. In memoriams to the Salvation Army or the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
