Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Brockville General Hospital, GSS.on July 28th 2011. Beloved wife of the late Donald Greene and loving mother of Phyllis Ogilvie (Dwight), Beverly Conroy, Marylin Greene (Fred), Donna McCann (Arnel), Shirley Sheffield (Gary) and Rod Greene (Sharon). Fondly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also survived by her sister Wilma Roberts, her sisters-in-law Trixie Mercier (Don), Wilma Halliday and Violetta Preston and by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her son Doug Greene; by a son-in-law Ron Conroy; by her brothers Lawrence and Arnold Hawkins; by sisters Dorothy Small and Helen Burleigh and by one great grandson Corbin Ogilve. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James St. E., Brockville on Sunday July 31st from 4 until 7 pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel on Monday August1st at 11 am. with interment at Athens Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to Brockville Foundation Palliative Care or the Lung Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
