<p>Passed away at home on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the age of 62. Dear father of Curtis Burns (Theresa) and Karrie Burns. Grandfather of Zane Young, Thea and Sierra Burns and step grandfather of Kira Pope. Brother to Archie, Bernie, Nancy, Ken, Rick, Tim, Michael and Chris. Also survived by his former wife Susan Smith and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Bruce and Beatrice (Carr) Burns and by brothers Ron, Allan, Bruce and Larry.</p><p><br></p><p>A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 96 on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 1 until 4pm in the lower lounge. Arrangements entrusted to the Irvine Funeral Home, 4 James St., E., Brockville. Donations to the Brockville and District Hospital Palliative Care or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
