Passed away suddenly at his home in Brockville on Sunday, February 14, 2010 at the age of 58 years. Son of the late Wallace and Lenore (Didmon) Gillan. Loving and proud father of Ryan Gillan of Calgary and loving brother of Glen Gillan (Françoise) of Montreal, Verle Lowther of Brockville, Karen Smith (Steven) of Vancouver and Betty Johnson of Vernon, BC. Affectionately remembered by his former wife Norma Gillan of Vancouver, BC. Also remembered by his nephew Karri Lowther. Family and friends were extremely important to Neal, and all are welcomed pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday, February 20th from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. A ceremony in celebration of Neal's life will be held in the Irvine Chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. followed by a gathering in the Irvine Reception Centre. Cremation will take place at Roselawn. In remembrance, donations to the Canadian Red Cross - Haiti Relief Fund, or to Brock Cottage will be gratefully acknowledged.
