Peacefully at home with his family by his side after a courageous battle with cancer on Friday, July 22, 2011 in his 65th year. Survived by his cherished wife Laura St. Amand of Brockville, and daughters Paula (Ken) Selleck of Johnstown and Nicole St. Amand of Brockville. Sadly missed by three grandchildren, Sierra and Austin Selleck, Michayla Capper and her father Michael. Survived by his mother Helen St. Amand of Thorold; brothers Paul (Gayle), Terry, Bill (Anne) and Christopher; and sisters Rose (Pat) DiClemente, Mary Catherine (Floyd) Weaver and Anna (Susan) St. Amand. Loved son-in-law of Walter Scott. Brother-in-law of Violet (Lloyd) McCargar, Barbara (Bill) Thompson, Shirley (David) Boyd, Joy (Bill) Clow, Kathryn (John) Ramdeen, Bob (Cecile) Scott, Hugh (Pooky) Scott, Nancy (Gord) Scott, Mary (Rod) Tetock and Carol (Randy) Rollich. Predeceased by his father Leonard, brother Raymond, mother-in-law Louisa Scott and brother-in-law Bill Scott. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26th at the IRVINE MEMORIAL CHAPEL AND RECEPTION CENTRE AT ROSELAWN, 2451 Maitland Road,Maitland where the Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in the Chapel on Wednesday, July 27th at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Donations to Brockville and District Palliative Care will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
