On Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Sherwood Park Manor; the former Nelda May Jackson at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of the late R. D. Bruce Elliott. Dear sister of Kay Dalton of British Columbia, and Wally Jackson of Florida and predeceased by sisters Eva (Mrs. Willard Row), Lillian (Mrs. Ken Wiltse), Pauline (Mrs. Lee McCready), and Isabel (Mrs. Bruce Firth) and by brothers Keith, Reg, Ernest and William Jackson. Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews including her niece and caregiver Nellie Jackson and her husband Bob of Brockville. A Service in Celebration of Nelda's life will be held at Wall Street United Church on Tuesday, October 27th at 10:30 a.m. A reception will follow in the Church Parlour. Interment at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers to the Wall Street Church Memorial Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
