On Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the Brockville General Hospital after a brief and unexpected illness; the former Nellie Irene Jones at the age of 83 years. Beloved wife of the late Garfield Warren. Loving mother of Judy Easterman (Tom) of Brampton, Katherine Borrett (John Walker) of Brockville, Susan Koivu of Oakville, Michael Warren (Kim Barkley) of Brockville, Jane Warren of Kingston and the late Dorothy Coughlin and by Doreen in infancy. Cherished grandmother of Dean, Jill, Derek, Kim, Karin, Kelly, Darrin, Ryan, William and Kyle. Also fondly remembered by thirteen great grandchildren and one more soon to arrive. Nellie was predeceased by her only sister Margaret Wing and by her parents, Harry and Bertha (Thompson) Jones. Family and friends may pay their respects at the Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, April 13th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Ceremony in Celebration of Nellie's life will be held in the Chapel on Thursday, April 14th at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association will be gratefully acknowledged.
